Revised Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students

Pursuant to section 238F (5) of the Education Act 1989, and to clause 32.3 of the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students dated August 2003, I notify the making of a revised Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students dated December 2003.

The revised code replaces the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students dated August 2003 and copies of the revised code are available free from the Ministry of Education’s web site:

The notice entitled “Revised Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students” and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 7 August 2003, No. 94, page 2471, is revoked.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (iii) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 12 August 2003, which was granted under those Regulations to Teresa Mason in respect of Kaiaua-Miranda Playcentre (32003), situated at Miranda Road, Miranda.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
