Change of Classification of a Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule from a local purpose (community facilities) reserve to a recreation reserve subject to the provisions of the Act.

1760 square metres, being Lot 1, D.P. S. 60987. Part New Zealand Gazette, 21 October 1993, page 3104. All certificate of title SA50A/323. Access, electricity, telephone and water supply easements shown on D.P. S. 60987, yet to be created.

Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993
Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of an urupa for the common use and benefit of Ngati Hine and Ngati Mahuta to be known as Okarea Urupa.
