proceeding, generally, in a northerly direction to the north
abutment of Komata River Bridge (Route Position 70/1.48
to Route Position 70/4.43); a distance of 2.95 kilometres.

Amendment to Transit New Zealand Bylaw
2003/10: Bylaw Regulating the Speed of Vehicles
on State Highways: Transit New Zealand
Regions 11 and 12
Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act
1989 and section 72 (1) (j) of the Transport Act 1962,
Transit New Zealand hereby amends the above bylaw as
follows.
Amendment
-
This amendment shall come into force 28 days after its
publication in the New Zealand Gazette. -
In the Second Schedule after clause 9 insert:
The Section of State Highway No. 77 at Glentunnel in
Selwyn District commencing at a point 317 metres,
generally, south-west of the intersection with
Whitecliff Road and extending in a generally easterly
direction to a point 145 metres, generally, west of the
intersection with Coaltrack Road (Route Position
67/11.40 to Route Position 79/1.41); a distance of 1.56
kilometres.\n
This amendment is made by delegated authority from the
Transit New Zealand Authority.

Declaring New Section of State Highway—State Highway No. 25
Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989,
the Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that the
section of road described in the Schedule hereto is declared
to be State highway.
Schedule
In Thames-Coromandel District, State Highway No. 25 to
include the section of recently constructed road at
Whitianga, commencing at Buffalo Beach Road and
proceeding, generally, in a south-westerly direction along
Racecourse Road and the new Whitianga Bypass to Moewai
Road (Route Position 127/0.54 to new Route Position
127/5.99); a distance of 2.84 kilometres.

Create Reservation on Māori Freehold Land
Pursuant to section 439 of the Māori Affairs Act 1953, on
the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori
freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is set apart as
a Māori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground for
the common use or benefit of the Ngati Irekehu hapu of the
Ngāi Tahu tribe.

Pursuant to section 21 of the Māori Affairs Restructuring
Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Māori
Development hereby gives notice as follows.
Notice

This notice may be cited as Māori Land Development
Notice, Rotorua 2003, No. 3. -
The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is, in
relation only to the piece of land described in the Second
Schedule hereto, hereby revoked. -
The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is
hereby released from the provisions of Part II of the Māori
Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
