NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

General Land Set Aside as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act
1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the
general land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set
apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a place of
cultural historical interest and future establishment of a
marae for the common use and benefit of all the descendants
and extended whanau of te whanau o Hiwaru Paku Tuatahi
o te Hapu o Ngai Tumapuhia-a-Rangi o te Iwi o Ngati
Kahungunu and to be known as Te Pou Herenga O Hiwaru
Maori reserve.
