Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre
Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (iii) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 20 April 2003, which was granted under those Regulations to June Robinson in respect of Rata Te Kohanga Reo (65605), situated at 48 Fitzherbert Street, Hokitika.
This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to section 146 of the Education Act 1989, I hereby establish a primary school designated as a full primary school, to be known as Baverstock Road School, at Baverstock Road, Flat Bush, Auckland.
While I have designated the school a full primary, I am signalling my intention to review its class and consider decapitation in two years' time.

Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999
Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 46) 2003 (No. F264)
Pursuant to Regulation 10 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999, and acting under delegated authority, the Associate Minister for Fisheries hereby gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 46) 2003.
(2) This notice shall come into effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Interpretation—In this notice:
(a) “customary food gathering” has the same meaning as defined in the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999.
(b) “Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki” means the person or persons appointed under Regulation 9 or 10 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999 as Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for the area/rohe moana.
(c) “area/rohe moana” means the area/rohe moana between the Pareora River and Whakatu, just north of the Hakatere/Ashburton River, from Te Tiritiri o Te Moana to Te Moana Nui a Kiwa extending seaward to the limit of the South Island fisheries waters as defined under Regulation 2 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999, and inland to the boundaries defined for Te Rūnanga o Arowhenua in the First Schedule of Te Rūnanga o Ngai Tahu Act 1996.

Cancellation of Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki—Te Rūnaka o Arowhenua, being the Tāngata Whenua who nominated Freda Daphne Brown, Elizabeth A. Stevenson, Yvonne Enoka, Rosina Hix, John P. Brooking and Ernest Arved Heta Johnston as Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for the area/rohe moana under Regulation 5 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999, have requested in writing the cancellation of the appointment of Freda Daphne Brown, Elizabeth A. Stevenson, Yvonne Enoka, Rosina Hix, John P. Brooking and Ernest Arved Heta Johnston as Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki.
