Food Act 1981

Amendment to Food Standards (Notice No. 1303)

Pursuant to Section 11G of the Food Act 1981, notice is given that the New Zealand (Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code) Food Standards 2002, Amendment No. 4, incorporating Amendment No. 67 to the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code, was issued by the Minister for Food Safety on 6 October 2003 and comes into force 28 days following publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(a) That Peter Amarat Rama be suspended from practice as a barrister or as a solicitor, or as both for a period of two years commencing 3 July 2003.

(b) That Peter Amarat Rama pays the costs of the Wellington District Law Society (including the expenses of P. B. Candy of $316.00) in the sum of $20,872.12.

(c) That in respect of the costs of the tribunal Peter Amarat Rama pay the sum of $8,085.70.
