Notice of Intention to Cease Carrying on Business in New Zealand

Pharmacia Limited Company (“the company”) hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 341 of the Companies Act 1993, that it will cease to carry on business in New Zealand three months from the date of publication of this notice.

The New Zealand business assets of Pharmacia Corporation have been acquired by Pfizer New Zealand Limited (“Pfizer”) as part of an international acquisition and the business formerly carried on by the company will be carried on by Pfizer.
