Notice of Intention to Cease to Carry on Business in New Zealand

Notice is given, pursuant to section 341 of the Companies Act 1993, of American Airlines Inc.’s intention to cease to carry on business in New Zealand on the 1st day of December 2003.

Following the closing of its New Zealand offices, full customer services will continue to be provided. American code share flights will continue to be operated by Qantas. For reservation inquiries, please call the following toll free number 0800 887 997. The ticketing office will be located at Ground Floor, Qantas House, 191 Queen Street, Auckland 1, New Zealand.

Take notice that on the 20th day of August 2003, an application for putting Stoneview Holdings Limited (“plaintiff company”) into liquidation by the High Court was filed in the High Court at Auckland.

The application is to be heard before the High Court at Auckland on the 11th day of September 2003 at 11.45 a.m.

Any person, other than the plaintiff company, who wishes to appear on the hearing of the application must file an appearance not later than the second working day before that day.

The plaintiff is Stoneview Holdings Limited, whose address for service is at the offices of Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, Solicitors, Twenty-fourth Floor, Bank of New Zealand Tower, 125 Queen Street, Auckland 1.

Documents for service on the above-named applicant may be left at the address for service or may be posted to the solicitor at P.O. Box 3798, Auckland 1.
