11.9.4 Dividend Pool
(a) The Dividend Pool shall be distributed equally amongst
those units of betting that have selected the Winner in
both of the Double Races.
(b) If no units of betting have selected the Winners in both
Races the countback priority for Double betting is units of
betting which have selected:

11.9.5 Dead Heats
If a dead heat or dead heats occur in one or both Double Races
the Dividend will be calculated by firstly dividing the Dividend
Pool into a number of parts corresponding to the number of
combinations that would entitle a unit of betting specifying one of
those combinations to a Dividend under Rule 11.9.4 and for
which there is at least one actual bet which specified that
combination and, secondly, dividing each part of the Dividend
Pool by the number of actual bets which specified the respective
combination.
11.9.6 Scratchings
Where a Race Entrant is Scratched from the first Race of a
Double, bet combinations involving the Scratched Race Entrant
shall be refunded.
Where a Race Entrant is Scratched from the second Race of a
Double, the Board will substitute an alternative selection for that
Entrant after the closing time for receipt of Double bets.
