Education Lands Act 1949

Land Declared No Longer Required for Education Purposes

Pursuant to section 5A of the Education Lands Act 1949, and pursuant to an authority delegated to me, I, Brian John Mitchell, Acting Group Manager Property, Ministry of Education Wellington, hereby give the following notice.

Notice

  1. The land described in the Schedule to this notice is no longer required for education purposes.
  2. This notice shall come into force on 1 August 2002.

Public Works Act 1981

Road Stopped and Amalgamated—The Centre, Whangarei District

Pursuant to sections 116 and 117 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares the portion of road described in the Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3), amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 97B/173.

Land Acquired for Road—Ellerslie-Panmure Highway, Auckland City

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the lands described in the Schedule to this notice are hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the Auckland City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
