Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990

Pursuant to Regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Victor Ian Everiss, Senior Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

Conditions

(i) The items specified in Schedule 2 must be in sound condition and good working order and must not be modified in any way.

(ii) Two-point lap seat belts that comply with the appropriate vehicle standard are fitted in the rear outboard sitting positions.

(iii) All other sitting positions are fitted with the seat belts required by Regulation 29.

(iv) All seat belts must be securely anchored to the vehicle and seat belt anchorages that are not the vehicle manufacturer’s original equipment must comply with Specification St 120395.

(v) This exemption may be revoked at any time.

(vi) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and be readily available for inspection.

Public Works Act 1981

Road Realignment—Hukerenui Road, Whangarei District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road and vested in the Whangarei District Council;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3):

(i) The land firstly, secondly, thirdly, fourthly and seventhly described shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 118/67 subject to mortgage No. A. 155081.1;

(ii) The land fifthly and sixthly described shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 130B/344 subject to mortgage No. D. 405196.3;

(c) Declares the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be taken, under section 119, and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 130B/344 subject to mortgage No. D. 405196.3;

on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
