Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988

Completion of Review and Initiation of Reassessment: Canned Peaches From South Africa

Pursuant to section 14 (8) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 (“the Act”), and under delegated authority from the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Economic Development, having carried out a review of the imposition of the anti-dumping duties in respect of imports into New Zealand of canned peaches from South Africa, and following the completion of that review, pursuant to section 14 (6) of the Act, I hereby give the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Completion of Review and Initiation of Reassessment: Canned Peaches from South Africa.

(2) I have completed the review and determined that the continued imposition of anti-dumping duties, on the goods described in the Schedule to this notice, is necessary to prevent a recurrence of material injury to the New Zealand industry producing like goods.

(3) I have initiated a reassessment of the amount of anti-dumping duty in respect of imports into New Zealand of the goods described in the Schedule.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 13 June 1997, which was granted under those regulations to Lorraine Namana, in respect of Torere Te Kohanga Reo (40163), situated at Torere School, State Highway No. 35, Torere, Opotiki.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 8 September 1998, which was granted under those regulations to Patricia Ireland, in respect of Riccarton Mall Preschool (70577), situated in the Riccarton Mall, corner of Riccarton Road and Division Street, Christchurch.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

St Anthony’s School, Seatoun.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on 29 January 2002.

A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the regional office of the Ministry of Education, 65 Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt.
