Declaration That Private Land be Protected Private Land
The Community Relations Manager for the Wanganui Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the private land described in the Schedule be protected private land for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.

Classification of a Reserve, and Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act, and further appoints the Tasman District Council to control and manage the reserve for recreation purposes.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation over that part of the recreation reserve described in the Schedule.

Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993
Setting Apart Māori Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place for the common use and benefit of the members of Ngati Hinemihi subtribe.

Notice Redefining the Purpose and Beneficiaries of a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (5) (c) and (d) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the purposes for which the Māori reservation in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto was created by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 13 December 1951, No. 91, page 1836, are hereby redefined as follows:
“A Māori reservation for the common use of the Ngati Te Rangitawhia, Ngati Tamatatai, Ngati Pihaka and Ngati Pareahotea Hapu o Ngati Wehi Wehi ki te tonga as the Marae Matua site to be known as Te Kotahitanga o te Iwi o Ngati Wehi Wehi.”
