Reserves Act 1977

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve
for Other Land

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager for the Northland Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation authorises the exchange of that part of the
scenic reserve described in the First Schedule for the land
described in the Second Schedule.

North Auckland Land District—Far North District
First Schedule
435 square metres, being part Section 2, Block IV,
Whangaroa Survey District; more particularly shown as
Lot 3 on L.T. Plan 212071. Part New Zealand Gazette,

Second Schedule

Reclassification of Local Purpose Reserve

Pursuant to section 24A of the Reserves Act 1977, the
Tauranga District Council declares that on 4 June 2002,
the council resolved to change the purpose for which the
land described in the Schedule is classified to local purpose
reserve (road).

Reclassification of Local Purpose Reserve

Pursuant to section 24A of the Reserves Act 1977, the
Tauranga District Council declares that on 4 June 2002,
the Council resolved:

(a) To change the purpose for which the land described
in the First Schedule is classified to local purpose reserve
drainage).

(b) To change the purpose for which the land described
in the Second Schedule is classified to local purpose reserve
(access way).

South Auckland Land District—Tauranga District
First Schedule
Land to be Classified as Local Purpose Reserve (Drainage)
400 square metres, more or less, being Lot 42 on
D.P. S. 68658, being the land contained in certificate of
title SA26252.

Second Schedule
Land to be Classified as Local Purpose Reserve (Access Way)
600 square metres, more or less, being Lot 43 on
D.P. S. 68658, being the land contained in certificate of
title 55A/495.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a
Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal
and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from
the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the
Tongariro/Taupo Conservancy of the Department of
Conservation hereby revokes the reservation as a local
purpose (segregation) reserve over that part of the land
described in the Schedule, and further declares that the
said land may be disposed of by the Taupo District Council
at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale
to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such
moneys to be used and applied in or towards the
improvement of other reserves under the control of
the council, or in or towards the purchasing of other land
for reserves.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation notifies that the following resolution was
passed by the Hurunui District Council on 14 March 2002:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by
section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Hurunui
District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land
held by the said council in fee simple, and described in
the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby
declared to be a local purpose (fire utility) reserve
within the meaning of the said Act.”
