Pursuant to section 42 (4) (a) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares the leasehold estate described in the Schedule to be surrendered and the underlying status of the land to remain Crown Land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Leasehold Estate in Land Acquired for the Generation of Electricity and Leasehold Estate to be Surrendered—Tekapo River, Mackenzie District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule to this notice held from Her Majesty the Queen by Grays Hill Station Limited, under and by virtue of pastoral lease 30A/658, is acquired for the generation of electricity and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 42 (4) (a), declares the leasehold estate described in the Schedule to be surrendered and the underlying status of the land to remain Crown Land, subject to the Land Act 1948.
