Appointments of District Health Board Members and Chairpersons

Under section 29 of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000, I appoint, as board members of the District Health Boards listed in Column 2 of the table below, the persons named in Column 1 of that table whose name appears alongside the name of the District Health Board.

Appointment of Board Members

The appointment of those persons takes effect on the date this notice is published in the New Zealand Gazette and ends on 9 January 2005.

Appointment of Chairpersons

Under clause 10 of Schedule 3 of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000, I appoint, as chairperson of the Waikato District Health Board

Michael Ludbrook

for a term ending 9 January 2005.

The appointment takes effect on 17 July 2002.

Under clause 10 of Schedule 3 of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000, I appoint, as chairperson of the Tairawhiti District Health Board

for the period of his current term as an elected member.
