Determination of New Organisms

Pursuant to section 26 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996, the Environmental Risk Management Authority hereby determines that the following is not a new organism:

Bacillus anthracis Cohn 1872 (Bacillaceae).

Land Transport Safety Authority

Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990

The Low Volume Vehicle Code, Issue 3

Pursuant to Regulation 6 (1) of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Laszlo Andras Hidvegi, Acting Manager, Safer Vehicles, hereby prescribe, for the items specified in the Second Schedule of those Regulations, the applicable standards in the Low Volume Vehicle Code, Issue 3, of the Low Volume Vehicle Technical Association Incorporated, as alternative standards for modified light vehicles.

I also notify that effective from 1 July 2002, the Low Volume Vehicle Code, Issue 3, is the current version of “the Low Volume Vehicle Code” as defined in Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Standards Compliance 2002 and in other Land Transport Rules, and that Issue 3 supersedes any previous versions of the Low Volume Vehicle Code.

The following notice, which related to Issue 2 of the Low Volume Vehicle Code, is revoked:
