New Zealand Walkways Act 1990

Declaration That Land Shall be a Walkway

Under the New Zealand Walkways Act 1990, the Conservator for the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares the public land described in the Schedule to be a walkway, subject to the provisions of that Act, to form part of the Belmont Walkway and appoints the Wellington Regional Council to be the controlling authority for the walkway.

Public Works Act 1981

Land Taken for Road—Adjoining State Highway No. 2, North of Woodville

A Proclamation

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, I, The Honourable Dame Silvia Cartwright, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be taken for road and shall vest in the Crown on the 14th day after the date of the publication of this Proclamation in the New Zealand Gazette.

203 square metres, being parts Section 7, Block VII, Woodville Survey District and being all of the land contained in certificate of title HBL4/360 (Hawke’s Bay Land Registry).

Road Realignment—Whakapirau Road, Kaipara District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and is vested in the Kaipara District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 (1) and 117 (3), declares the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3), amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 4B/1309.

Road Realignment—Paparoa–Oakleigh Road, Kaipara District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road and vested in the Kaipara District Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116, and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Schedules to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3):

(i) The area described in the Second Schedule shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 134D/941, subject to memorandum of mortgage D. 648548.3.

(ii) The area described in the Third Schedule shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 105B/649, subject to memorandum of mortgage D. 438160.5 and caveat D. 438160.7.

(iii) The area described in the Fourth Schedule shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 72D/622.

(iv) The area described in the Fifth Schedule shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 945/134.
