Notice of Granting an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87N (4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 29 March 2000, I give notice that, having received an application from Air Pacific Limited of Fiji, I have granted that airline an International Air Service Licence to offer services between Fiji, optionally via one point in the South Pacific Islands, and Auckland, Wellington and/or Christchurch.

HER EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 104 (2) (a) of the Electoral Act 1993, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

Order

1. Title—This order may be cited as the Electoral Main Rolls Closing Order 2002.
2. Date for closing of main rolls—The main roll for every general electoral district and for every Māori electoral district closes on 21 June 2002.

Explanatory Note:
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

As part of the enrolment inquiry, this order closes, as at 21 June 2002, the main rolls for all electoral districts. This enables the main rolls to be printed and published as at that date. They will then be available to the public for checking.

The making of this order does not preclude:

(a) the making of a subsequent order closer to the date of the expiration of the present Parliament; or
(b) the printing of a composite roll as at writ day.
