The Traffic (Marlborough District) Notice, 2002
Pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Marlborough District) Notice, 2002.

The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit zones pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
Schedule
Situated within Marlborough District at Blenheim:
Old Renwick Road: From a point 40 metres measured westerly generally along Old Renwick Road from Murphys Road to a point 110 metres measured westerly generally along Old Renwick Road from Hammerichs Road.
Hammerichs Road: From Old Renwick Road to a point 400 metres measured northerly generally along Hammerichs Road from Old Renwick Road.

Transport Act 1962
The Traffic (Carterton District) Notice, 2002
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Carterton District) Notice, 2002.

Those localities and roads appearing on plan numbered LT0242/1 entitled “Carterton District Council District Speed Restrictions at Carterton” and held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority are declared to be:
(a) closely populated localities with a maximum speed limit of 50 kilometres an hour at all times pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962; or
(b) excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of that Act; or
(c) excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of that Act, and declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed-limit areas pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976;
as indicated by markings in accordance with the legend on the plan. The plan and legend are hereby incorporated into this notice.

Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990
Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990
Pursuant to Regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Simon Christopher Whiteley, Manager Safer Vehicles Policy, acting under delegated authority, and having regard to the results of tests carried out in New Zealand on the performance of the vehicle’s braking system, exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990
Pursuant to Regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, John Andrew Justice, Acting Manager Safer Vehicles Policy, acting under delegated authority, and having regard to the results of tests carried out in New Zealand on the performance of the vehicle’s braking system, exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.
