Human Rights Commissioners Appointed

Pursuant to section 8 of the Human Rights Act 1993,
Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to reappoint

Warren Alexander Lindberg, of Auckland

and

Michael John Powles, of Wellington

and further to appoint

Robyn Mary Hunt, consultant of Wellington
Joy Jennifer Liddicoat, barrister and solicitor of Wellington
Merimeri Penfold, educator of Auckland
each to be a Human Rights Commissioner for a term of five years on and from 1 May 2002.
