Notice of Approved Code of Practice for the Safe Handling, Transportation and Erection of Precast Concrete

Pursuant to section 20 (3) of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992, whereas subsections (3) (a) and (3) (b) of that Act have been fulfilled and complied with, the Minister of Labour hereby gives notice that she approves a statement of preferred work practices or arrangements for health and safety in the use of precast concrete, under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992, entitled:

“Code of Practice for the Safe Handling, Transportation and Erection of Precast Concrete”.

These preferred work practices or arrangements are designed to describe the general health and safety provisions for the management of precast concrete for the protection of employees and others.
