Classification of Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve be Part of the Bream Head Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, Northland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto as a scenic reserve and, further declares the said reserve to form part of the Bream Head Scenic Reserve to be administered as a scenic reserve.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Hutt City Council authorises the exchange of that part of the recreational reserve described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule.

331 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 39, D.P. 70460; now shown as “Lot 17” on L.T. Plan 302320, part certificate of title 36A/299, and being part of the land commonly known as Grimsby Grove Reserve in Wainuiomata, to be exchanged.

Second Schedule

534 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 30871; now shown as “Lot 16” on L.T. Plan 302320, part certificate of title 58A/917, situated at Upper Fitzherbert Road in Wainuiomata, to be gained by the Hutt City Council for reserve purposes.

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Under section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and in exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegation, the Waikato District Council notifies the following resolution was passed by the council on 27 November 2001, the Waikato District Council resolves to declare that the pieces of land held in fee simple by the council and described in the Schedule be declared to be recreation reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Waikato District Council in such manner, at such price, and on terms and conditions as the council determines, the proceeds from a sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such monies to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Central Otago District Council at current market value, the proceeds of such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, to be used and applied in or towards the purchase and maintenance of other land as a reserve for a children’s playground or public garden in Cromwell.

2024 square metres, more or less, being Sections 5 and 6, Block LXVIII, Town of Cromwell. Certificates of title 331/80 and 331/81.
