Terrorism Suppression Act 2002

Designation of Terrorist Entity—Jemaah Islamiyah

On 30 October 2002, pursuant to section 22 of the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002, Jemaah Islamiyah, the network in South-East Asia (a.k.a. Jema'ah Islamiyah; a.k.a. Jemaah Islamiya; a.k.a. Jemaah Islamiah; a.k.a Jamaah Islamiyah; a.k.a. Jama'ah Islamiyah), founded by the late Abdullah Sungkar, was designated as a terrorist entity.

This designation expires on 30 October 2005 unless it is earlier revoked or extended pursuant to the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002.

Civil Aviation Act 1990

Notice of Variation of an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87Q (4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 29 March 2000, I give notice that, having received an application from Korean Air of Korea, I have varied the international air service licence issued to that airline to provide for 11 frequencies per week plus such supplementary services as are authorised by the aeronautical authorities of both New Zealand and Korea.
