Education Lands Act 1949

Land Declared No Longer Required for Education Purposes

Pursuant to section 5A of the Education Lands Act 1949, and pursuant to an authority delegated to me, I, Paul Dickson Burke, Group Manager Property, Ministry of Education Wellington, hereby give the following notice.

Notice

The land described in the Schedule to this notice is no longer required for education purposes.
This notice shall come into force on 14 February 2002.

Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be road and vested in the Far North District Council.

Amending a Notice Stopping Road—Marsden Point Road, Whangarei District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the notice dated 20 December 2001, Stopping Road, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 17 January 2002, No. 5, page 146, by deleting the following from the body of the notice:

“to be road and vested in the Whangarei District Council”

and substituting the following:

“to be stopped and vested in the Whangarei District Council”.
