Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road and vested in the Marlborough District Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3), amalgamated with the land in certificate of title MB2B/1195.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a local purpose (site for a Scout hall) reserve over the land described in the Schedule.

Exchange of Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Tauranga District Council notifies that the council passed the following resolutions on 4 March 2002:

(a) “In the exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 15 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Tauranga District Council resolves to exchange the land held by the Council as recreation reserve and described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.”; and

(b) “In the exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 16 (2A) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Tauranga District Council approved the classification of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, as Local Purpose Reserve (Accessway).”
