Animal Products Act 1999

Animal Products (Amendments to Incorporated Material) Notice 2002 Notice (No. 1237)

Pursuant to section 168 (5) of the Animal Products Act 1999, I give notice that the following amendments to those Meat Act regime circulars and directives which are listed in Schedule 1 of the Animal Products (Ancillary and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2000, shall take effect on the date of publication of this notice.

1. Manual 16: Post-mortem inspection procedures, as amended by Amendment No. 4, issued 8 April 2002 and Amendment No. 5, issued 10 June 2002.

2. Industry Standard 7: Byproducts (a consolidation of certain circulars and directives notified in the Animal Products (Amendments to Incorporated Material) Notice 2001 Notice (No. 1189)), as amended by Amendment No. 1, issued 23 October 2001.

3. Manual 4: Pre-slaughter Requirements, amended by inserting at the end of this document “Industry Standard 4: Procurement of Animals for Food, issued 7 May 2002, section 4”.
