Pursuant to section 16 of the Takeovers Act 1993, and
sections 39 (2A) and 44A of the Public Finance Act 1989,
the Minister of Commerce hereby gives notice that the
Takeovers Panel has published its annual report for
the year ending 30 June 2002, containing its financial
statements and audit report.

Amendment to Transit New Zealand Bylaw 2002/11:

Bylaw Regulating the Speed of Vehicles on
State Highways in Transit New Zealand
Regions 3 and 4

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act
1989 and section 72 (1) (j) of the Transport Act 1962,
Transit New Zealand hereby amends the above bylaw as
follows.

Amendment

  1. This amendment shall come into force 28 days after its
    publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. In the second schedule after clause 11 (c) insert:
    At Bethlehem, commencing at a point 1.06 kilometres
    east of Bethlehem Road and proceeding generally in an
    easterly direction on Tamatea Arikinui Drive (Route
    J Expressway) to a point 520 metres west of Cameron
    Road (Route Position 146/2.03 to Route Position
    146/5.42); a distance of 3.39 kilometres.

This amendment is made by delegated authority from the
Transit New Zealand Authority.

Amendment to Transit New Zealand Bylaw 2002/12:

Bylaw Regulating the Speed of Vehicles on
State Highways in Transit New Zealand
Regions 7 and 8

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act
1989 and section 72 (1) (j) of the Transport Act 1962,
Transit New Zealand hereby amends the above bylaw as
follows.

Amendment

  1. This amendment shall come into force 28 days after its
    publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. In the Schedule after clause 4, insert:
    That section of State Highway No. 3 at Wanganui,
    from a point 110 metres south of Heads Road
    extending in a generally south-easterly direction to
    a point 200 metres south of Wikitoria Road (Route
    Position 384/17.126 to Route Position 402/0.20); a
    distance of 1.16 kilometres.

This amendment is made by delegated authority from the
Transit New Zealand Authority.
