  1. DAILY LIMIT BAGS

8.1 No licence holder shall on any day take, kill or be in possession of more than four sports fish, of which not more than two may be salmon from the following waters (excluding tributaries):

Cobb Reservoir Lake Rotoroa
Lake Rotoiti Lake Tennyson

8.2 No licence holder shall on any day take, kill or be in possession of more than two sports fish in the following waters, (including tributaries) where only one of these fish may exceed 500 mm in length:

Branch River Pelorus River upstream of its confluence with the Rai River
D’Urville River Rahu River
Daniell’s Lake Rainbow River
Deepdale River Riwaka River
Glenroy River Ronga River
Goulter River Sabine River
Matakita River upstream of its confluence with the Glenroy River Spring Creek
Motueka River upstream of its confluence with the Wangapeka River Travers River
Motupiko River Warwick River
Opouri River Whakapuaka River
Owen River Woolley River
Pearse River

8.3 In all other waters no licence holder shall on any day take, kill or be in possession of more than two sports fish.

8.4 No licence holder shall on any day take, kill or be in possession of more than two salmon.

  1. FISH LENGTH

There is no minimum size limit for trout or salmon taken in the Nelson / Marlborough Fish and Game Region.
