Biosecurity (Bovine Tuberculosis—Cattle Levy) Order 1998

Cattle Slaughter Levy

Pursuant to section 12 of the Biosecurity (Bovine Tuberculosis—Cattle Levy) Order 1998, the Animal Health Board Inc. gives notice that the above levy on adult cattle slaughtered in licensed premises is hereby fixed at a rate of $14.00 (G.S.T. exclusive) per head.

This rate of levy will come into effect from and inclusive of 3 September 2001.

The purpose of the levy is to partly fund activities under the Biosecurity (National Bovine Tuberculosis Pest Management Strategy) Order 1998.

Commodity Levies (Orchard Fruit) Order 2001

Notification of Rate of Levy—10 September 2001 – 30 September 2002

The New Zealand Fruitgrowers Federation hereby advises that, in accordance with Clause 11 (1) of the Commodity Levies (Orchard Fruit) Order 2001, the rate of levy for the period commencing 10 September 2001 and ending 30 September 2002 was fixed by directors of the Federation as follows:

“The levy rate is 0.07% of the gross sales value ($7.00 per $10,000.00 of sales) of all orchard fruit.”
