Easement Acquired to Convey Water—Otira, Westland District

Pursuant to sections 20 (1) and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, an easement right to convey water in gross forever, containing the rights and powers set out in the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, is acquired over the land described in the Schedule to this notice and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Acquired for Road and Road to be Stopped—Central Otago District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares that the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is acquired for road and shall vest in the Central Otago District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 (1), 117 (3) and 120 (3), declares the road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and when stopped to be amalgamated with the land in C.T. 17D/1058, subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991, Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987, a Land Improvement Agreement by transfer 814564, a right-of-way by transfer 923319.3, a memorandum of mortgage by transfer 5010379.2, a caveat by transfer 5016669.1 and appurtenant to easements to convey water and store water.

Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Lands as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to sections 338 (1) and 340 (2) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, 24 hectares, more or less, but more particularly delineated on the plan held in the office of the Maori Land Court, Whangarei, being part of the Māori freehold lands described in the Schedule hereto is to be set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a place of cultural historic and scenic interest for the common use and benefit of the members of Te Iwi o Te Roroa and the people of New Zealand generally.

The reservation is to be known as The Lawrence Bunny Ambler Māori Reserve.
