Declaration That Private Land be Protected

Private Land

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the private land described in the Schedule be protected private land for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the Act and a deed of agreement dated 19 January 2001, and further declares that the protected private land shall be known as The John Fensham Sanctuary for Native Birds and Trees.
