Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993
Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purposes of a cemetery to be known as “Waka Tere” for the common use and benefit of the tribe known as “Waka Tere o Te Rarawa”.

Redefining the Purposes of a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (5) (d) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the purposes of the Māori reservation on the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, be redefined by adding to the purposes as set out in New Zealand Gazette, 29 September 1988, No. 164, page 3876, the words “To be known as the Pukerewa Marae” following the reference to the Ngati Tahinga and Ngati Karewa tribes.

Redefining the Purposes of a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (5) (d) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the purposes of the Māori reservation on the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto be redefined by substituting for the existing purposes as set out in New Zealand Gazette, 19 July 1990, No. 123, page 2532, that the class of persons now should be Te Arikinui Te Atairangikaahu, her Te Maika lessees and her invitees.
