Black Knob
77º50´S, 166º40´E. A descriptive name for a rock outcrop 0.31 kilometres west of Twin Crater on Hut Point Peninsula, Ross Island.

The Fang
77º29´S, 167º13´E. A distinctive toothlike peak 3159 metres, which forms the highest point of Fang Ridge on Mount Erebus, Ross Island. Replaces Upper Fang.

Bird Saddle
77º23´S, 166º53´E. The feature is one of three prominent snow saddles on Ross Island, this one at approximately 800 metres between Mount Bird and Mount Erebus.

Terra Nova Saddle
77º31´S, 167º37´E. The feature is one of three prominent snow saddles on Ross Island, this one at approximately 1400 metres between Mount Erebus and Mount Terra Nova.

Terror Saddle
77º31´S, 168º05´E. The feature is one of three prominent snow saddles on Ross Island, this one at approximately 1600 metres between Mount Terra Nova and Mount Terror.

Stewart Peak Area—New Names

Clow Island
77º37´S, 163º10´E. An island 0.97 kilometres long in the eastern part of Lake Fryxell in Taylor Valley, Victoria Land. This feature was a peninsula as recently as the 1980s when the rising level of the lake submerged the east part of the peninsula and created the island.

Terry Peak
77º45´S, 163º31´E. The highest peak (1282 metres) on the rock bluffs at the south side of New Harbor on Scott Coast, Victoria Land. The peak is 7.56 kilometres west south-west of Stewart Peak.

Thoreson Peak
77º44´S, 163º38´E. One of the highest peaks (1200 metres) on the rock bluffs at the south side of New Harbor on Scott Coast, Victoria Land. The peak is 5.15 kilometres west south-west of Stewart Peak.

Weatherwax Glacier
77º38´S, 163º36´E. A glacier which occupies the elevated basin south of Mount Barnes in Kukri Hills, Victoria Land. It drains south-east from 800 metres elevation and terminates in a narrow glacial snout on rock bluffs 200 metres above New Harbor.

Darwin Glacier Area—New Name

Kerr Inlet
80º04´S, 160º15´E. An ice-filled inlet, 1.61 kilometres wide, located at the west side of Cape Kerr in the north part of Barne Inlet.
