Land Acquired for Road—67A Fendalton Road, Christchurch

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and is vested in the Christchurch City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, the Māori freehold lands described in the Schedule hereto are hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a landing place and scenic reserve for the common use and benefit of the shareholders of Waerenga East and West Blocks Incorporated.

Māori Freehold Land—Redefine the Purpose, Class of Persons and Reduce the Area of a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (5) (c) and (d) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto that was set aside as a Māori reservation and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 17 August 2000, No. 92, page 2289, is hereby redefined from that of a marae to an area of reservation for the protection of the taonga for the benefit of the descendants of Te Hata Te Kani and Rihi Te Awa. The area shall be reduced to 1012 square metres or a ¼ acre. The area set aside shall be known as the Arapaoanui 3C Wahi Tapu Reserve.
