On 11 April 2001 at the District Court at Tauranga, Fayola Lillian Hales was convicted of the following offence – driving with excess breath alcohol – and in addition to the sentence imposed on her, the Court has ordered that a

Mazda 626 motor vehicle, registration No. KR 1911 owned by the above-mentioned defendant, be forfeited to Her Majesty, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The Bayfield High School Board of Trustees Election Validation Notice

Pursuant to Clause 9 (1) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989 and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby validate the election for parent representatives for the Board of Trustees of Bayfield High School held on 30 March 2001, on the grounds that although an irregularity occurred in the election process it did not materially affect the result of the election.

This notice takes effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

The Ngaruawahia Primary School Board of Trustees Election Invalidation Notice

Pursuant to Clauses 9 (3) and (3A) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989 and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby declare invalid the elections for parent and staff representatives for the Board of Trustees of Ngaruawahia Primary School held on 30 March 2001, and require new elections to be held on 30 May 2001, and declare that the trustees holding office on 30 March 2001 remain in office until the close of the day before the day when the new trustees take office.

This notice takes effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
