Court at Hamilton on 6 charges of using a document with intent to defraud.
Mark Alexander Flyger had pleaded guilty to the charges that in terms of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand Act 1996 and the rules made thereunder, and in particular Rule 21.30, the member had been convicted of an offence punishable by imprisonment and that the conviction tended to bring the profession into disrepute. The member did not appear before the tribunal.
After receiving evidence and hearing submissions on behalf of the professional conduct committee, the disciplinary tribunal ordered that:

Pursuant to Rule 21.31 of the rules of the institute, the name of Mark Alexander Flyger be removed from the Register of Members of the Institute.

Pursuant to Rule 21.33 of the rules of the institute, Mark Alexander Flyger pay to the institute the sum of $3,066.20 in costs and expenses of the hearing.

In terms of Rule 21.35 of the rules of the institute, the decision be published in the Chartered Accountants Journal of New Zealand, the New Zealand Gazette, the Waikato Times and The New Zealand Herald.
