Public Notice of Appointment of Liquidators

The Charitable Trusts Act 1957

On the 19th day of March 2001 at 7.30 p.m., it was resolved by special resolution, pursuant to the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, that Cedar Springs Charitable Trust be liquidated and that Thomas Lee Rodewald and Sheree Ann Jefferson, chartered accountants of Te Puke, be appointed as joint and several liquidators for the purpose.

The liquidation commenced on the 19th day of March 2001 at 7.30 p.m.

Creditors and shareholders may make direct inquiries to Lois Henley during normal business hours at the address and telephone number stated below.

Pursuant to Section 104DD of the Property Law Act 1952

Take notice that on the 26th day of March 2001, Bridgecorp Finance Limited, by virtue of memorandum of mortgage No. B. 531737.8 (South Auckland) situated at 76-80 Lake Terrace, Taupo, being all the land comprised in certificates of title 63D/65 to 63D/99 inclusive, and 63D/103 and 63D/104 (South Auckland), entered into possession of the property.

The registered office of Bridgecorp Finance Limited is Level Fourteen, Bridgecorp House, 36 Kitchener Street, Auckland.

Notice of Entry into Mortgaged Property at Penthouse C, 10-14 Hobson Street, Auckland

Pursuant to Section 104DD of the Property Law Act 1952

Southern Cross Building Society, at First Floor, Southern Cross Building, corner of Victoria and Queen Streets, Auckland, being the mortgagee pursuant to memorandum of mortgage No. D. 236038.4, hereby gives notice that on or about the 28th day of March 2001, it took possession of the property owned by Hobsonview Apartments Limited (in liquidation) at Penthouse C, 10-14 Hobson Street, Auckland.

Auckland, being the property comprised in certificate of title 96D/421 (North Auckland Land Registry), and in addition received rentals payable in respect thereof.

Fortis Life Assurance Company Limited (formerly known as Amev Life Assurance Company Limited)

Proposed Release of Deposit

The Life Insurance Act 1908

Fortis Life Assurance Company Limited (hereinafter called “the company”) has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased to carry on the business of insurance in New Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw, pursuant to section 12 of the Act, the deposit which has been made by it with the Public Trustee.

The Public Trustee therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 12 of the Act, that being satisfied that all liabilities of the company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been fully liquidated or provided for, he proposes to release to the company on or after the 25th day of April 2001, the amount deposited with him by the company.

Any objections to the release of the amount deposited should be lodged with the Public Trustee at the Public Trust Office, 117-125 Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before the 15th day of April 2001.
