Chetwin, Chief Executive, Department of Labour, hereby give notice that I am satisfied that Marine and Industrial Safety Inspection Services Limited meets the criteria set out in Regulation 9 (1) of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pipelines) Regulations 1999, for recognition as a certifying authority for the carrying out of inspections and the issuing of certificates of fitness in accordance with Regulation 9 of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pipelines) Regulations 1999.

Social Security Act 1964

Approval in Relation to Rural Assistance under Special Needs Grant Programme

Under clauses 18.2 and 18.6 of the Special Needs Grant Welfare Programme (as established and approved on 18 December 1998 under section 124 (1) (d) of the Social Security Act 1964), the Minister of Social Services and Employment establishes and approves the programme to apply as follows:

Rural Assistance—Farmers in Masterton

Farmers in the Masterton area whose Land Based Industry is orcharding and who are directly affected by the hail storm on 7 January 2001 are eligible to be considered for financial assistance under Part 6 of the programme.

In relation to such farmers, Part 6 begins to apply on the day after the date of this approval and ceases to apply on 1 March 2002 unless extended by the Minister.

For the purposes of this approval, Masterton means the Masterton District.
