Decoy Limit

Duck decoys:

(a) 5 May to 13 May, no person or persons sharing a stand shall use more than 30 duck decoys. No duck decoys shall be placed within 50 metres of those placed by another hunter.

(b) Rest of duck hunting season: No limit.

Goose, Black Swan and other species: No limit.

Closed Game Areas

The following closed game areas as listed for the former North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society in the supplement to the New Zealand Gazette of 28 March 1985 are revoked:

(5) The Heathcote River and all its tributaries from the Lincoln Road bridge to the Ferry Road bridge.

(6) Land at Ohoka, namely: all that area in the Canterbury Land District, Eyre County, containing 23.9574 hectares, more or less, being Lot 3, D.P. 1641, and being part Rural Section 1115 (all certificate of title, volume 545, folio 10): parts Rural Section 1114 (all certificate of title, volume 148, folio 47); Rural Sections 8503, 8504, 8505, and parts Rural Sections 111 and 1615 (all certificates of title, volume 430, folio 179). All situated in Block XIV, Rangiora S.D., and as may be further defined by the erection of white painted posts.

(7) The River Avon from its source in Rural Sections 177 and 144, Block X. Christchurch Survey District, to the Pleasant Point Bridge between Rural Section 11212 and 14342, Block XII, Christchurch S.D., including the Waimairi and Wairarapa Streams, Dudleys Creek, and all other tributaries of the River Avon, and of the said streams and creek.

(9) An area of land R. 3938 situated in the Canterbury Land District and known as the Coutts Island Reserve being an area of 9.3078 hectares.

(11) The property of Mr and Mrs N. Isaac, Harewood, comprising 24.7939 hectares, more or less, contained in Lot 1, D.P. 17014, Part R.S. 3060, Lot 1, D.P. 21725, and as further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(12) The estuary, foreshore, and adjacent areas of the estuary of the Avon and Heathcote Rivers as described in the Christchurch City Bylaw No. 50.
