Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997
Notice of Intention to Make a Recommendation
Under Section 82 (2) of the Trans-Tasman Mutual
Recognition Act 1997
Pursuant to section 75 of the Trans-Tasman Mutual
Recognition Act 1997 (“the Act”), I give notice of
my intention to make a recommendation to the
Governor-General, under section 82 (2) of the Act, to
make regulations extending the exemption period referred to
in section 82 (1) of the Act for a period 12 months from
1 May 2001 in relation to the laws, and the provisions of the
laws, specified or described in Schedule 3 of the Act.
The making of such a recommendation is subject to my
being satisfied, as required by section 82 (2) of the Act, that
no fewer than two-thirds of the participating jurisdictions
have endorsed the terms of the proposed regulations.

Health Camp Schools Boards of Trustees
Notice 2001
Pursuant to section 95 of the Education Act 1989, I publish
the following notice.
Notice
- This notice shall be cited as the Health Camp Schools
Boards of Trustees Notice 2001. This notice shall take effect
on the day after its publication. - The Health Camp Schools shall each have a Board of
Trustees constituted as follows:
- The principal;
- A staff representative;
- The health camp manager and a member appointed by
the health camp manager; - Up to 3 members appointed at any time in the
absolute discretion of the Minister of Education,
including at least 1 member with expertise in effective
education interventions for children with challenging
behaviour; and - Up to 3 members co-opted by the board.
The “Health Camp Schools and Schools in Institutions
Under the Control of the Director-General of Social
Welfare Boards of Trustees Notice 1992” published in the
New Zealand Gazette, 23 April 1992, page 1167, is hereby
revoked.

109 (7B) of the Education Act 1989, I am satisfied that it is
in the best interests of Tihiroa School that the election of its
board should be postponed and that the current
commissioner’s term of office should be extended.
I set 3 August 2001 as the date of the election for a new
