Exemption From Specified Requirements of the

Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990

Pursuant to Regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle
Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Charles Anthony Johnson,
Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor
vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the
requirements contained within Regulations 13 (3) (a) and
13 (4) of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations
1990, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 2.

(iii) Prospective vehicle owners must be fully informed of
this notice and the conditions contained within it.

Southern Plantations Rural Fire District Notice

1998 Amendment No. 1

Pursuant to section 4 (4) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act
1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the
following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be
    cited as the Southern Plantations Rural Fire District Notice
    1998 Amendment No. 1.

(2) This notice will come into force on 21 January 2002.

  1. Amendment of Rural Fire District Notice—The
    principal notice* is hereby amended by deleting the
    Schedule and inserting a new Schedule as follows:

Otago and Southland Land Districts

All those parcels containing 31082 hectares, more or
less, as shown on S.O. Plan 302513, lodged in the office
of the Otago/Southland Land Districts as the same
as those numbered 134 deposited in the office of the
New Zealand Fire Service in Wellington.

All those parcels containing 115,798 hectares, more or
less, as shown on S.O. Plan 24584 and S.O. Plan 24627,
lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Otago, and
S.O. Plan 12110, lodged in the office of the Chief
Surveyor, Southland, as the same as those numbered
126 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Fire
Service in Wellington.”
