Notice of Appointment of a Limited Statutory Manager at Waimokoia Residential School
Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I have directed the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager for the Waimokoia Residential School Board of Trustees because of risks to the operation of the school.
The limited statutory manager shall have vested in him:
(a) the necessary functions, powers and duties of the board to enable completion of all the disciplinary and personal grievance actions under way as at 2 November 2001.
The limited statutory manager must advise the board on:
(b) any actions which must take place to complete the disciplinary process already under way;
(c) any actions, including mediation, required to resolve the personal grievances which have been lodged; and
