Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the Notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice prescribes:

(i) classes of products, being interfering equipment and susceptible equipment as defined in section 2(1) of the Radiocommunications Act 1989; and

(ii) the standards applicable to particular classes of products; and

(iii) the level of conformity applicable to any class of product; and

(iv) the requirements to be met by suppliers of products for each level of conformity; and

(v) products deemed to comply with the notice; and

(vi) forms of Declarations of Conformity; and

(vii) the products for which a return of sales, or supply, is not required.
