SCHEDULE C
PRODUCTS DEEMED TO COMPLY WITH THIS NOTICE
Australia
A product to which Schedule A of this notice applies is deemed to comply with the requirements of this notice if the product is labelled and supplied in accordance with the requirements of:
(a) a notice issued by the Australian Communications Authority under section 182 of the Australian Radiocommunications Act 1992;
(b) a standard made by the Australian Communications Authority under subsection 162(1) of the Australian Radiocommunications Act 1992.
SCHEDULE D
SUPPLIER RETURNS IN RESPECT OF RADIO TRANSMITTERS
A holder of a licence to supply radio transmitters, granted under regulation 19, is not required to supply returns for:
(a) transmitters designed for operation on frequencies to which Part IV of the Act applies, including cellular telephones operating in the frequency ranges 806 – 960 MHz, 1710 – 1880 MHz and 1920 – 2200 MHz;
(b) Mobile Earth Station (MES) transmitters operating in the frequency ranges 1610 – 1660.5 MHz and 1980 – 2010 MHz;
(c) Land Mobile ‘two frequency’ semi-duplex mobile transmitters, except those that are fitted with a semi-duplex ‘single frequency’ (known as a ‘simplex channel’).
(d) transmitters to which Table 1 of schedule B of this notice applies, except those that are:
(i) Short Range Devices operating in the frequency range 88 – 108 MHz;
(ii) operating in the maritime service in the frequency range 156 – 163 MHz.
