Pursuant to section 28 of the Electoral Act 1993, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the members of the Representation Commission who hold office under paragraphs (a), (b), (c) and (e) of section 28 (2) of the Electoral Act 1993, appoints

Bernard John Kendall of Auckland, a District Court Judge

to be a member and the Chairperson of the Representation Commission.
