Commodity Levy Rates

Below are the commodity levy rates as approved by resolution at the annual general meeting of the New Zealand Avocado Growers Association on 22 September 2001:

1. That the levy rate for avocado fruit sold into the domestic market be set at 3% for the period 22 September 2001 to 30 April 2002.

2. That the levy rate for avocado fruit sold into the domestic market be set at 3% for the period 1 May 2002 to 30 April 2003.

3. That the levy rate for processed avocado fruit sold be set at 0% for the period 22 September 2001 to 30 April 2002.

4. That the levy rate for processed avocado fruit sold be set at 0% for the period 1 May 2002 to 30 April 2003.

5. That the levy rate for avocado fruit sold into the export market be set at 0 cents per 5.5kg trays for the period 22 September 2001 to 30 April 2002.

6. That the levy rate for avocado fruit sold into the export market be set at 15 cents per 5.5kg trays for the period 1 May 2002 to 30 April 2003.

Game Industry Board

1. Board levy.

1.1 Under Regulation 17 (3) of the Game Industry Board Regulations 1985, the Game Industry Board (“the board”) fixes the rates of board levy (which levy rates are exclusive of goods and services tax imposed by the Goods and Services Tax Act 1985) as follows:

(a) On each deer, other than fallow deer, slaughtered in deer slaughtering premises, on the basis of hot clean carcass weight after removal of condemned parts:

16.9 cents per kilogram.
