Customs and Excise Act 1996
Customs (Inward Report) Amendment Rules 2001
Pursuant to section 288 (1) (a) and (12) of the Customs and Excise Act 1996, the Chief Executive hereby makes the rules prescribing the forms for making inward reports in respect of small craft and amends the Customs (Inward Report) Rules 1996.

Title—(1) These rules are the Customs (Inward Report) Amendment Rules 2001.
(2) In these rules, the Customs (Inward Report) Rules 1996 are called “the principal rules” (CR 1A/1996).

Commencement—These rules come into force on the 28th day after the date of their publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Rule 3 and Schedule amended—(1) Rule 3 of the principal rules is amended by revoking the reference, in paragraphs (a) and (c) therein, to the word “yachts” and substituting the words “small craft”.
(2) The Schedule of the principal rules is amended by revoking form C1B and substituting form C1B set out in the Schedule of these rules.
(3) Except to the extent amended by these rules, the principal rules shall remain in force.

Status of rules—These rules are regulations for the purposes of the Regulations (Disallowance) Act 1989.
