Land Acquired for Road—New Street, Nelson City

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981,
and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Stephen
Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares
that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been
entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice
is acquired for road and vested in Nelson City Council on
the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand
Gazette.

Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Community
Relations Manager for the Northland Conservancy of the
Department of Conservation hereby notifies that the
following resolution was passed by the Far North District
Council on 18 April 2001:

“That in the exercise of the powers conferred on it by
section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Far North
District Council hereby resolves that the land described
in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same is hereby
declared to be a local purpose (community facilities)
reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator of the East
Coast Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of
Conservation notifies that the following resolution was
passed by the Opotiki District Council on 22 August 2000:

“That pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977,
council resolves to classify that land described in the
Schedule as local purpose (community building).”

Change of Classification of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator of the East
Coast Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of
Conservation changes the classification of the reserve
described in the Schedule from a reserve for recreation
purposes to a local purpose (community buildings) reserve,
subject to the provisions of the Act.
