Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle
Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On 13 September 2001 at the District Court at Tauranga,
Jeremy Benjamin Smith, of 39B Ngatai Road, Tauranga,
was convicted and sentenced to 3 months' periodic
detention and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor
driver's licence for 6 months from 8 January 2002 following
his conviction on 13 September 2001 for an offence of
dangerous driving and, in addition to the above-mentioned
penalty, Community Magistrates K. Hurley and H. White
have ordered that a
Honda Civic motor vehicle, registration No. JM 7913
owned by the above-mentioned defendant, Jeremy
Benjamin Smith, be forfeited to Her Majesty, pursuant to
section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.
The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District
Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga,
by 4.00 p.m. on 13 September 2001.

Note: Any person whose motor vehicle is subject to a
confiscation order shall not, within 12 months after the date
of order, acquire any interest in any other motor vehicle.
Every person who acquires any interest in any motor vehicle
is in contravention of section 85 of the Criminal Justice Act
1985, commits an offence and is liable on summary
conviction to a fine not exceeding $500.00, or instead of or
in addition to imposing a fine, the Court may order the
confiscation of the motor vehicle concerned.

each to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and
criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to exercise
the criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under Part IIA
of the District Courts Act 1947.

criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to exercise
the criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under Part IIA
of the District Courts Act 1947 for a period of 6 months on
and from 1 October 2001.

Pursuant to section 95 (1) of the Education Act 1989,
and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of
Education, I hereby publish the following notice.
Notice
-
This notice may be cited as the Waimokoia Residential
School Board of Trustees, Auckland, Notice 2001 and
shall take effect on the day after its notification in the
New Zealand Gazette. -
The Waimokoia Residential School Board of Trustees
shall be constituted as follows:
- The principal of Waimokoia Residential School;
- one staff representative elected by and from the
members of the board staff of Waimokoia Residential
School; - five members appointed by the Minister of Education;
and - up to four members co-opted by the board.
- The Waimokoia Residential School Board of Trustees
Notice 1992 published in the New Zealand Gazette,
23 April 1992, No. 57, page 1169, is hereby revoked.
